Sex Addiction Recovery Intensive
in Searcy and Rogers, Arkansas
Helping men find freedom from pornography addiction and compulsive sexual behaviors.

Tired of Lasting Freedom Feeling Just Out of Reach?
By the time most men consider a therapy intensive, they’ve already invested tremendous time and energy trying to change. They’ve made promises to themselves, searched for answers, and wondered why lasting freedom still feels just beyond their reach. They aren’t looking for another lecture or another quick fix—they’re looking for someone who understands what they’re experiencing and can help them find a different path forward.

At ReGroup Counseling, we believe recovery is about more than stopping unwanted behaviors. It’s about renewing hope, rebuilding integrity, and recovering the life and relationships you’ve always wanted. Lasting freedom doesn’t come from trying harder. It comes from understanding yourself more deeply, addressing the issues beneath the behaviors, and embracing a different approach to recovery.

The good news is this: lasting recovery is possible. It often begins by taking a different path than the one you’ve been walking.
What can you expect to gain?
Every man’s story is different, but the goal is the same: to leave with greater clarity, renewed hope, and a practical path forward.

During your intensive, we’ll work together to help you:

✓ Better understand the patterns that have kept you stuck.

✓ Identify the underlying issues that continue to fuel unwanted behaviors.

✓ Begin addressing the deeper issues that have made lasting freedom feel out of reach.

✓ Develop practical tools for lasting recovery—not just temporary behavior change.

✓ Rebuild integrity with yourself and those you care about.

✓ Create a personalized recovery plan that continues long after the intensive is over.

✓ Move forward with greater confidence, purpose, and hope.
Why a Therapy
Intensive?
Weekly therapy can be incredibly effective, but many men find it difficult to build lasting momentum when they’re spending far more time living in the same patterns than they are working to change them.

An intensive changes that.

Instead of one hour each week focused on recovery followed by days of returning to the same cycle, an intensive creates dedicated time to step out of that pattern and begin establishing a new one. It provides the opportunity to understand your story, address the deeper issues that have fueled unwanted behaviors, and begin building healthier ways of living before returning to the demands of everyday life.

For many men, that concentrated time creates the stability needed for weekly therapy to become significantly more effective. Rather than replacing ongoing therapy, an intensive often provides the strong foundation that helps ongoing therapy become even more effective.

For many men, the intensive isn’t the end of therapy—it’s the beginning of lasting recovery.

Your Intensive Experience
Pre-Intensive Assessment and Planning Session
Before your intensive begins, we’ll meet for a one-hour session to learn more about your current situation, answer your questions, and clarify your goals. This conversation allows your therapist to begin tailoring the intensive specifically to your needs so your time together is focused, intentional, and meaningful from the moment you arrive.
You’ll Be Heard
Rather than rushing through your story, we’ll take the time to understand the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped where you are today. Your story matters and contains vital information for lasting recovery, and we’ll create the space to hear it.
You’ll Be Understood
Many men carry tremendous shame because they believe no one could truly understand what they’re experiencing. You won’t be judged or reduced to your behaviors. We understand that unwanted behaviors don’t exist in a vacuum—they develop within the context of a person’s story, relationships, experiences, and attempts to cope.
You’ll Understand Yourself
One of the greatest sources of relief in recovery is discovering that your behaviors finally begin to make sense—not because they’re acceptable, but because they’re understandable. As you gain a deeper understanding of the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that have shaped your life, shame begins to lose its grip. That understanding leads to an increased ability to take responsibility, creating the foundation for genuine healing and meaningful change.
You’ll Begin to Heal
Insight alone isn’t enough. Lasting recovery requires more than understanding—it requires healing. Together, we’ll address the deeper issues that have continued to fuel unwanted behaviors while also developing practical strategies that support lasting recovery. Our goal isn’t simply to help you stop acting out—it’s to help you build a life where lasting freedom becomes possible.
You’ll Leave with a Plan
Before your intensive concludes, you’ll leave with greater clarity, practical next steps, and a personalized recovery plan to guide your continued recovery. For many men, that includes ongoing therapy, accountability, support groups, and other resources that help maintain the momentum created during the intensive.

Every Sexual Integrity Intensive is facilitated by a therapist or multiple therapists with specialized training and experience in helping men recover from pornography addiction, compulsive sexual behaviors, affairs, and other issues related to sexual integrity.

Because every man’s story is different, we’ll help match you with the therapist—or therapy team—best suited to your unique needs, goals, and location.

Why Brenton Does This Work
I do this work because the parts of life we are most afraid to name are usually the ones that matter most. Our sexuality. Our betrayals. The state of our marriages. These are where we are most fully known, and where we have the most to lose. People often arrive convinced they are beyond understanding, carrying a shame that tells them not to hope. After more than a decade in this work, I can tell you that is almost never the whole story.

I do not treat these struggles as moral failures or as a disease to be managed. I treat them as deeply human: as patterns that once made sense, often rooted in old wounds, that stopped protecting the people they were meant to protect.
You will not be labeled here. You will be understood, told the truth, and helped toward honesty and repair you can actually trust. That is the hardest work I know of, and it is the work I most want to be doing.

Why Ryan Does This Work
I do this work because I know what it feels like to have your life turned upside down by your own choices. Having walked this road myself allows me to understand these struggles from both sides of the chair—as someone in recovery and as a therapist helping other men find lasting freedom.

I’ve experienced therapy that didn’t help, and I’ve also experienced therapy that transformed my life. That difference shapes the way I approach recovery and these intensives.

My own recovery helps me understand and my professional training and years of clinical experience provide the knowledge and skills to guide men through a recovery process that leads to genuine, lasting change.

It’s a privilege to walk alongside men who are ready for something different.

Why Joel Does This Work
I do this work because I believe each person's story is worth hearing.
We often encounter clients whose behavior patterns don't align with their self-perception, leading to statements like, "I have no idea how I ended up here".

The work we do provides a judgement-free space for clients to understand where they are NOW and how they got here. We get to help them process the past to understand the present so they can see a more hopeful future.
This work can have a generational impact. It can help rewrite our clients' futures and it's hard for me to think of a more worthy reason than that.
