Marriage Therapy Intensive
in Searcy and Rogers, Arkansas
Focused time to understand what keeps you stuck, reconnect, and begin creating meaningful change in your relationship.

When You Keep Ending Up in the Same Place
Most couples don’t reach the point of considering a therapy intensive because they haven’t tried. They’ve talked, argued, promised to do things differently, read books, gone to therapy, or simply hoped things would get better with time. Yet somehow, they keep finding themselves caught in the same painful patterns.

Over time, frustration can become distance. Conversations become harder, old hurts remain unresolved, and even couples who still deeply care about one another can begin to wonder whether meaningful change is possible.

At ReGroup Counseling, we believe getting stuck doesn’t mean your relationship is beyond hope. Often, couples need more than another conversation or another hour of therapy. They need enough focused time to slow down, understand the patterns that keep pulling them apart, address what lies beneath them, and begin building a different way of relating.

The good news is this: relationships can change. Sometimes the first step is creating enough time and space to do the work differently.
What can you expect to gain?
During your intensive, we’ll work together to help you:

✓ Understand Your Patterns

Begin identifying the cycles, reactions, and underlying issues that keep pulling you back into the same conflicts and creating distance in your relationship.

✓ Rebuild Connection

Create space for more honest and productive conversations, greater understanding, and the opportunity to begin reconnecting in ways that may have felt difficult or impossible.

✓ Begin Healing

Address unresolved hurts and deeper issues that continue to affect your relationship while beginning the work needed to create meaningful and lasting change.

✓ Create a Path Forward
Leave with greater clarity about your relationship, practical tools and next steps, and a personalized plan for continuing the work you’ve begun together.
Why a Therapy
Intensive?
Relationship patterns that have developed over months or years can be difficult to understand and change one hour at a time. Just as meaningful work begins, the session ends—and couples often return to the same pressures, conflicts, and patterns before meeting again.

A therapy intensive provides extended, focused time to slow down and stay with the work. Instead of repeatedly stopping and starting, you have the opportunity to build on insights as they happen, address deeper issues, practice new ways of relating, and create momentum toward meaningful change.

An intensive isn’t a quick fix or the end of the work. For many couples, it’s an opportunity to make meaningful progress and create a stronger foundation for the work that continues afterward.

Your Intensive Experience
Pre-Intensive Assessment and Planning Session
Before your intensive begins, we’ll meet for a one-hour session to learn more about your current situation, answer your questions, and clarify your goals. This conversation allows your therapist to begin tailoring the intensive specifically to your needs so your time together is focused, intentional, and meaningful from the moment you arrive.
You’ll Be Heard
Both of you will have space to share your experience of the relationship, the challenges you’ve faced, and what you hope can be different—without getting lost in the same conversations that keep you stuck.

You’ll Begin to Understand
Together, we’ll slow down and identify the patterns, reactions, and deeper issues that continue to create conflict or distance. Understanding the cycle is an important step toward changing it.

You’ll Do Meaningful Work
With extended time together, you’ll have the opportunity to move beyond simply talking about the problems and begin addressing unresolved hurts, practicing new ways of relating, and creating meaningful change.

You’ll Build a Path Forward
You’ll leave with greater clarity, practical tools, and personalized recommendations for continuing to build on the work you’ve begun during your intensive.

Every relationship is different, and the right therapist matters. Our team includes experienced marriage and relationship therapists with specialized training in helping couples understand the patterns that keep them stuck, address deeper issues, and begin creating meaningful change.

We’ll help match you with a therapist—or team of therapists—based on your relationship, goals, needs, and the specific challenges you’re facing. Your intensive will then be personalized around what will be most helpful for you as a couple rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

You don’t have to know which therapist or format is right for you before reaching out. We’ll help you determine the best fit.
